Competition Details:
Date: Saturday, June 1st, 2024
Location: CrossFit Elgin, 11 Sparling Road, St. Thomas
Registration: 8:30am
Heat Times: 9am – 2pm
Format: Teams of 3, Co-ed
2 Divisions: Rx, Scaled
# of Workouts: 4
Entry Fee: $350+hst per team (includes professional event photography)
Awards & Prizes: $1500+ in prizes will be awarded at 4pm.
Registration Deadline: Saturday, May 25th, 2024. All athletes are required to complete liability waivers, submit payment to be confirmed as "registered".
Registration Cancellation/ Refund: Cancellation requests will be received and refunded in full less $50 (for admin time) until Saturday, May 25th, 2024. Cancellation requests received on/after May 25th, 2024, will not be refunded, however, a credit will remain on file for use at a future event.
How it Works:
Choose your division- Rx or Scaled. Heats will run throughout the day, each heat will begin with Scaled Athletes and end with Rx Athletes. Push your limits and embrace 4 competitive challenges as a Team. Above all, have some fun making new memories and earning new stories to tell!

🏋️♀️ Workout #1 Hurricane, 14:00 AMRAP
3 Laps 800m Run (3-2-1 Athletes)
Max Cal Row
Max Reps Over Object
All three Partners start the run together holding the rope.
After the 1st 800m lap, one athlete drops out and begins to row.
After the 2nd 800m lap, the 2nd Athlete drops off and may row or perform “over object”.
After the Final 800m lap, the final athlete joins their teammates.
Score = Max Cal + Reps Over Object

Which Division is Best Suited for Your Team?
Rx - If you or your teammates train Rx for most regular workouts, you're in the Rx Division. If you or your teammates can do toes-to-bar, chest-to-bar, snatch, handstand walk or handstand pushup, heavy deadlift and front squat, you are in the Rx Division.
Scaled - Beginner and Recreational Athletes looking to challenge themselves and experience the rush of a competition will make up the majority of this category. Scaled movements will be at lower weights and skill level than the Rx Division, such as toes-to-hips vs. toes-to-rings, or wall walks in place of handstand walks or handstand pushups.
Rx - If you or your teammates train Rx for most regular workouts, you're in the Rx Division. If you or your teammates can do toes-to-bar, chest-to-bar, snatch, handstand walk or handstand pushup, heavy deadlift and front squat, you are in the Rx Division.
