Location: CrossFit Elgin
Registration: 8am - 8:30am
Heat Times: 9am – 3pm
Format: Teams of 2, Co-ed
(One teammate must be a current CFE Member)
2 Divisions: Rx, Scaled
Number of WOD's: 4
Entry Fee:
$100 per team +hst (CrossFit Members)
$150 per team + hst (CrossFit Member + Guest)
Registration Deadline: Monday, January 15th, 2024. All athletes are required to complete a liability waiver and agree to our Registration Cancellation/Refund terms below.
Registration Cancellation/Refund: Cancellation requests will be received and refunded in full less $25 (for admin and credit card fees) until Monday, January 15th, 2024. Any cancellation request received on/after January 15th, 2024, will not be refunded, however, a credit will remain on file for use at a future event.
How it Works:
Teams of 2 will choose their division- Rx or Scaled- and complete 4 WOD's together at this In-House Winter Challenge! Compete. Have Fun. Rx Teams must be Co-Ed. Scaled Teams may be Co-Ed or 2 Female Athletes.

Rx: Partner 1 does 12 KB Thrusters (44/26) while Partner 2 does Max Cal Row. Switch. Repeat.
Scaled: Partner 1 does 12 KB Front Squats (44/26) while Partner 2 does Max Cal Row. Switch. Repeat.

Divisions/Standards:
Rx - If you or your teammate train Rx for most regular workouts, you're in the Rx Division. If you or your teammate can do toes-to-rings, muscle ups, heavy olympic and power lifts, you are in the Rx Division.
Scaled - Beginner and Recreational Athletes looking to challenge themselves and experience the rush of a competition will make up the majority of this category. Scaled movements will be at lower weights and skill level than the Rx Division, such as ring pull ups vs ring muscle ups or toes-to-hips vs toes-to-rings.
